NORTHSTAR-AT-TAHOE RESORT MOUNTAIN BIKE PARK ADDS NEW BEGINNER TRAIL, JUMP PARK

From: Northstar-at-Tahoe

Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort, Lake Tahoe, California, today announced the opening a new downhill bike trail for those who are interested in learning downhill mountain biking. It also includes a jump park for those who wish to improve their skills.

NEW BEGINNER TRAILEasy Ride is approximately 1.75 miles long, has a width of 4 to 6 feet and a grade of 5 percent. The trail starts at the mid-mountain near the top Gondola Express chairlift and ends at the Village at Northstar. Easy Rider, which is designed to allow families and beginners to ride together on suitable terrain, is now available at Northstar Resorts beginner mountain biking trail. The resort has also added a beginner package. This includes an afternoon lift ticket that is valid from 1 p.m. and access to the Gondola Express lift. It also includes a rental bike. This package is available for those aged 13+ and children 9-12 years old.

AND A JUMP PARK
The Northstar Resorts trail crew created the 2six Jump Park. It has small, medium, and large lines that allow riders to improve their skills. Three lines are available: table tops, doubles, large doubles, and small doubles. Riders can transition between them by placing them together. The 2six Jump Park can be found off Village Run near the Lower Mineshaft.

The trail crew at Northstar Resort Mountain Bike park Manager Kyle Crezee has been hard at work to improve the trails. This will not only provide more terrain for those who are interested in learning the sport, but also allow families to enjoy riding together on terrain that is suitable to all levels. Riders of all abilities will love Northstar’s variety of terrain and features. This includes Easy Rider and the newly built jump park.
