What Is The THE CUT?
The Cut is comprised of seven of the most creative, innovative and progressive riders in the world. They have been carefully selected from every corner of the globe. Each member of The Cut brings something unique to the team: style, strength, personality, and character. Aaron Chase, a Cannondale veteran, leads the team of heavy-hitters that includes Sick Mick Hannah and Chris Van Dine as well as Wayne Goss and Carlo Dieckmann. The newest additions to the squad are George Ryan and Chris Hatton.
Matt Mannelly (Cannondale President and CEO) says that this crew is a serious team with serious skills. This keeps the sport exciting and forward-thinking. I am inspired by Aaron’s ripping videos. This kind of dedication and creativity keeps us at the forefront of product development.
THE TWO NEW GUYS
CHRIS HATTON. Hatton is a French Junior DH racer. He hails from Cornimont in Eastern France. His BMX experience, combined with a progressive mindset and self-control, adds to his style.
Christopher will ride the Cannondale Prophet MX/Chase, which has been tuned to his requirements. The Prophet has 14 cm of balance travel. It also features a hollow-core pivot that increases rear stiffness to ensure flex-free performance. Hattons air shows will be enhanced by the Chases 6061-TX aluminum bombproof, CNC machined construction.
GEORGE RYAN – Long Island native George Ryan grew to mountain biking. He is a 100% mountain biker. Although his main focus is freeride, he also has two New York State DH Championship titles.
Ryan will start the season on a Cannondale Judge DH with 22 cm staged travel, big hit construction and a Prophet MX built to his specifications.
